Peace and Justice

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is a stunning island nation located in the southern Caribbean, forming part of the Windward Islands in the Lesser Antilles. Often referred to simply as St. Vincent, this breathtaking destination lies where the eastern Caribbean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean.

St. Vincent & the GrenadinesThe country spans approximately 150 square miles and includes the main island of Saint Vincent along with the northern two-thirds of the Grenadinesโ€”a necklace of over 30 smaller islands and cays stretching south toward Grenada. The landscape is mountainous, lush, and volcanic, with black-sand beaches, vibrant coral reefs, and verdant rainforest.

Saint Vincent is located just south of Saint Lucia and west of Barbados. While much of the country lies within the Hurricane Belt, its natural beauty and remote charm continue to attract travelers seeking serenity and adventure.

Home to about 102,000 people, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is one of the more densely populated nations in the region, yet many of its islands remain tranquil and sparsely developed.

The capital city, Kingstown, serves as the nationโ€™s commercial hub and main port, featuring colonial architecture, bustling markets, and access to the surrounding Grenadine islands via ferry or chartered boat.

With a rich blend of French and British colonial history, the country is now a proud member of several international organizations including the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States, CARICOM, the Commonwealth of Nations, the Bolivarian Alliance for the Americas, and CELAC.

Whether you're drawn to its cultural heritage, natural beauty, or the promise of island-hopping across secluded tropical paradises, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines offers a one-of-a-kind Caribbean experience.
