Jacqueline Johnson, CTC, is a familiar and respected figure within the Caribbean Tourism Organization. As President and CEO of Global Bridal Group and MarryCaribbean.com, she has long been a dedicated member of the Caribbean tourism community. Her leadership extended to serving as chairman of the Caribbean Tourism Organizationโ€™s (CTO) Scholarship Foundation, which raises funds to provide scholarships and study grants for students and industry professionals pursuing hospitality-related careers.

Her professional journey began in publishing, with roles at prominent publications such as New York Magazine, Travel Agent Magazine, Bridal Guide Magazine, and Condรฉ Nast. Over time, she leveraged her expertise in both marketing and publishing to lead the award-winning multimedia enterprise Global Bridal Group and MarryCaribbean.com. These platforms closely align with the Caribbeanโ€™s tourism goals by promoting the region as a premier destination for weddings and honeymoons.

Jacqueline JohnsonOver the decades, Johnsonโ€™s contributions have been recognized with numerous accolades. The Caribbean Tourism Organization alone has honored her with the Outstanding Service Award, the Award of Excellence, and the prestigious Tourism Medal of Excellence, recognizing her as one of the 50 most influential people in the Caribbean.

Her leadership continues to influence the global professional community through her work organizing Marketing Forums and Bridal Symposiums around the world.

Among her proudest career milestones was being appointed Chairman of the CTO Foundation by the late Jean Holder on September 14, 1999. The role reflected her deep commitment to Caribbean tourism and the recognition of her contributions by peers in the industry. A standout achievement during this time was witnessing the transformative impact of the Foundationโ€™s scholarship programs, which opened doors for talented Caribbean nationals. As former CTO Secretary General Hugh Riley noted in 2009, Johnsonโ€™s dedication to helping others and creating meaningful opportunities has earned her widespread respect in both the Caribbean and the United States.

Johnson believes in the importance of claiming a seat at the โ€œTable of Authorityโ€ to be a lasting force for positive change and stresses the value of mentoring and supporting the next generation of leaders. She draws inspiration from the words of Winston Churchill:
